House Abrahamsohn
Martin Punitzer designed a home for the industrialist Robert Abrahamsohn near his factory. The structure consists of several elements that appear pushed together and has a very different appearance to the dynamic and transparent appearance of the factory. The turreted stairwell, the asymmetric main structure, the windows stretched around the building’s corners and the accentuated red and brown ledges define the building.
Robert Abrahamson was barely able to inhabit the building for ten years before immigrating to his wife’s family in the USA in 1938.
