Klarwein, Ossip

Klarwein was born in Warsaw in 1893. Due to increased persecution of Jews, the family fled to Germany in 1905. Studied at the TH Munich. Worked for Höger in Hamburg from 1921. In 1933, he fled to Palestine, where he designed important buildings as a successful architect, such as the government district in Jerusalem together with Richard Kauffmann and Heinz Rau.
